Most people have an innate need to connect intimately with others and with God. At Genesis we believe that Life Groups are the key to meeting this need. Our Life Groups are small groups that gather regularly and share life together. They seek to grow in love for God, self, and others through prayer, encouragement, studying God's Word, and providing support to each other through life's journey.

The goal of Genesis Kids ministry is to come alongside parents in laying down a spiritual foundation that will lead a child into a relationship with God and will empower them to be a follower of Jesus for the rest of their lives. We do this through our kids’ worship team, through curriculum on Sunday that encourages them to know their Bible and to apply its’ truths to their lives. Kids are given opportunities to serve and make a difference in the world through missions too. We accomplish all of this through solid relationships with their leaders and peers – people who will pray with and for them.

We believe that all junior high and high school students can have a deep and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. The Genesis youth ministry strives to connect students with God, each other, and Christian adults in a way that is relevant to this generation of students. During our gatherings, we strive to create an atmosphere where students can just be themselves, hang out with friends, have fun, and grow deeper in their knowledge of Christ and His unconditional love. Our youth meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday’s of each month for Sunday Morning Live and each Sunday night from 6-8 pm for Revelation.

Here at Genesis, we affirm that God has created a unique role for men at home, work, the church, and everywhere in between. We strive to discover that role and purpose together and are dedicated to strengthening each other through support, community, prayer, Bible study, and service projects.

At Genesis, we know it’s vital for women to have a safe and loving place to connect with each other. No matter where women are on their journey—single, single Moms, 20ish, married with or without children, divorced or somewhere in-between, all women seem to have one thing in common: they want to be loved and accepted—no matter what. Our ministry exists to encourage women to grow in their faith in Christ, to develop and strengthen intimate friendships with other women and to provide opportunities to serve and reach our community for Christ.

Twice a month Genesis people head downtown for outreach with the homeless. It is our desire to meet emotional, spiritual, and relational needs while striving to meet as many physical needs as we can. Our community has been making sleep mats from grocery bags; we collect and take toiletries whenever possible, and pass out food and water.
