WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in the Holy Scriptures, the Old and New Testaments as the word of God, and the only perfect rule of faith and doctrine and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God, externally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(Matthew 28:19; John 1:1, 3; John 4:24; Ephesians 4:5-6)
We believe all have sinned and that our sin separates us from God and leads to eternal death.
(Romans 3:23-24; Romans 6:23)
We believe that Christ, through His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave, offers forgiveness to all who, through faith, receive His gift of salvation and eternal life. (John 3:16; Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4)
We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
We believe baptism is the means by which God identifies those who are united with Him.
(Matthew 28: 18-20; Romans 6:3-5)
We believe the Church is a fellowship of believers, called out of the world to participate in worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and service. (1 Peter 2:9; Acts 2:42-48)
We believe that all Christians are filled by the Holy Spirit at the moment of conversion.
(Romans 8:9; John 14: 16-17)
We believe that God’s gifts all Christians with spiritual tools which are used to build-up the body of Christ and exalt our Lord. (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:1-16)
